A Pretty Dang Awesome "Fall Break"

Let me begin by saying Weber State University's "fall break" is a joke. Seriously, one day?! One day?! That's all we get after eight weeks of slaving away over hours and hours of homework? It's just wrong, I tell you. Very, very wrong.
That being said, I did have a nice, longish weekend. It was chill and relaxing. I missed mi familia though. They left me because their "fall break" was a day longer than mine. Lame. 
Anyway, I thought I'd use this post to tell you about the dear friends I spent my one-day break with. I absolutely adore them. These are two of my best friends in the whole wide world. I'd like to introduce you to Sarryn and MeChel. Aren't they lovely? 

Friday was technically the break part because it was the only day we should have been in school but weren't, so that's the one I'm going to document a bit of. It was such a glorious (yes, glorious) day, we couldn't resist going outside to do our homework (we had to do homework on our day off?!). Of course, since it was so beautiful out there we could hardly focus on anything requiring much intellectual analysis. So we ended up doing our nails instead – on a blanket – in my backyard. 

It. Was. Awesome.  

Then we went for ice cream with some other friends. We were obviously in really, really good moods. What can I say? We love ice cream. P.S. Sar and Chel didn't even plan those poses. They can just rock the funny face look. I think they're on the same brainwave or something. I obviously didn't get the memo or something.

To quote Sar, it was just a really "happy" day. If I had to do it again, I'd still choose to spend it with these ladies. Thanks for being there for me guys. I love you!
